Now before you ask, NO, she is not a RWBY fan-character nor a character lovechild. She was the only sketch I had on my laptop while I was without internet. It took me a while to determine her colors as to not make her a complete rip off, but I think she's perfectly in parody range where she belongs. :3
Alignment: Neutral.

Unlike Sammy who trained to fight due to the family traditions, Penny here mainly relies on her telekinesis to do the fighting for her. The result being she has high stamina from her sports and can really dish it out, but can't really take a hit.
She and Sam have been rivals since they were in their teens. Penny was the cute sports all star who always played fair, Sam was the cute shapeliest girl in school, both of which could kick your butt. Both are kind, both are cute and both scored about as low as each other on math tests.
They're both nekos, have rather chipper personalities, and have eyes for the same guy(s). Yes, they have had multiple shared crushes. The typical result of shared crushes was Sam's older twin Kimberly getting the man in question.
Despite the in some cases violent rivalry, Penny isn't cruel. With her power she could just flat out murder Sam by snapping her neck, but that isn't how Penny rolls (also she knows it wouldn't down Sam for good). Despite them being rivals Penny will often give Sam a fighting chance, as it is more fair and fun that way. Or her fairness to Sam may just be because Penny greatly fears what Sam's older sister Kim may do to her if she isn't.
Now that she is done and I have internet once again, I'm off to make a short RWBY comic. Then likely the next part of Date Night.

After reading through comments on the last date night, I can't believe I forgot about this character. Then again, I'm stupid, so that's to be expected.
Anyway, like everyone said, Penny is really cute.
I'd say that maybe it might be good to make some changes because she's kind of skirting the line between "Captain Ersatz" and "Copy of Pyrrha" but that's just me.
Plus, I love how she's pretty much a nice person who just has a problem with Sam instead of Sam's "Evil" counterpart. It's really nice!
Since I see that you are your brother are making a game with her as well, I think that's really neat and I even know some game engines, if you'd want some help with that.
